ride2rave is a private side project for festival carpooling — no startup, no investors, no association. Just a site, because I got fed up with half-empty cars stuck in traffic. Free for everyone, paid for out of my own pocket.

Serial festival-goer for over 10 years, software developer by day. I build and run ride2rave on my own — on the side, out of my own pocket.
No team behind a brand, no hotline, no anonymous support inbox. When you write, you reach me directly, and I answer myself. That matters to me: that you know who's behind the site.
Currently a one-person project. If you want to help build it — code, festival research, translations, community support — get in touch. Help is always welcome.
First to ask, first served. No algorithm, no ranking, no boosted slots.
The fuel contribution goes 100 % to the drivers. I don't take a cent for connecting you.
Fewer cars, more togetherness, less CO₂. I don't want to be the biggest platform — just the one that works.
No ad cookies, no profile selling, no re-targeting. Your data stays with me and is only used to connect people.
In 2023 I stood in the Fusion car park — every car next to mine had just as many empty seats. You know the feeling.
There were Facebook groups, WhatsApp lists, Telegram chaos, BlaBlaCar with filter roulette. Nothing built for festivals. Nothing without fees.
So I built it myself. No business plan. No exit. No hockey stick.
Just a site that does what it says.
Drop me a line — no mandatory pop-up, no “not now” dialogs. If you want to give something, we'll find a way.
☕ Write to meDrivers cancel sometimes. Traffic is worse than expected. Support answers the next day because I'm at a festival myself. I'm one person, not a call centre.
If something goes wrong — write to me directly. I read everything.
